London Pt. 1
This weekend I travelled to London. I left early from work for a Ryanair flight on Friday. Bremen’s airport being so close to the city center is very convenient. It was kind of a hassle to get to the flat in London, though. My flight was late, customs took forever, and after 15 minutes of waiting in line, the ticket booth was closed for me to get my oyster card to get to the flat. I was finally able to get to the flat, and then to Mamma Mia. However, we got in our seats with 3 minutes to spare. Mamma Mia was a very fun show. I had a great time. I now have to see the movie! After the show, we went to eat because it was late and we were all hungry. We ended up in a Shake Shack next to the theater where the Harry Potter play is. That was the second time I had had American food since I have been in Europe (the first was KFC in the Hamburg train station). After that, we went to a pub and I got a half pint of a London Pale Ale. I do not know anything about beers, but the bartender recommended it to me, and it was good. After all of that, we walked back to the tube station to take the tube to our flat. It was a good first afternoon/evening in the city.
